01The data map

Find out which data problems are worth fixing first.

The data map takes two weeks and costs a fixed fee. At the end you have a short list of decisions your data could support if you could trust it, with a rough £ value on each, and the smallest piece of work that would get you the most valuable one.

Decision listExample MGA · £40m GWP
  1. 01Reprice the motor book within 10 days of a change being agreed£400k
  2. 02Stop reconciling bordereaux by hand£120k
  3. 03Pull fair value evidence without rebuilding it each year£60k

Illustrative example, not a client result. Values are a year's worth; yours are built from your own data.

Why it isn't an audit

An audit lists what's wrong with your data. The data map works out which of those problems cost you money, and roughly how much.

That's the part an underwriting team can act on. A long list of broken fields usually ends up in a drawer.

04

After the data map

If you go ahead, the work is scoped from the top of the decision list.

Before anything is built we agree a baseline with you, and at handover we measure it again the same way. We don't charge day rates, so running over earns us nothing. If you stop after the data map, the decision list is still yours to use however you like.
